I heard a baseball scout say one time that the level of play in the "Power Five" college conferences was equivalent to that of Low A, but the level of play of the teams outside of the "Power Five" was equivalent to the upper rookie leagues. This minor league season has been a roller coaster ride.
Some people have been down on it, mainly because I think the MLB season has been rough, but we are in fantastic position moving forward. Especially with our pick coming from the Marlins, our (potential and probable) top 5 pick and international pool.
I'm really impressed with the way he's pitched this year, especially since being promoted. He is proving me wrong and getting his prospect status back, that's for sure.Quote:
