Ha... I thought the same.

I wonder if things heat up this week....By now Miami (and all teams involved) should have a good idea of what it will take to get JTR and who the players for him are....I think Atlanta matches up best with Miami for him in terms of what we have to offer..
I don't think it would be bad publicity....we signed him to an extension at the end of the season thinking that he was going to be one of our 2 guys....
A player became available that we did not expect, and we made the deal because it made the team better...
While we could technically go with 3 catchers, I don't think that is the direction we would go for the full season. JTR should and will get a bulk of the playing time, while BMac will serve as the back up or the personal catcher for Folty or Newk.
If JTR happens, I wouldn't be surprised to see Flowers dealt to Oakland
Still don’t really think Realmuto is the best use of resources.
Maybe not, but at this point when there are so few corner OF options available AA's running out of available upgrades.
Would need to be a bit of a wild merry-go-round, but if he could get Realmuto on his terms and work out something for Peralta that'd be an awfully nice offseason.
Sure that's looking more short-term, but if he doesn't make a move to be realistically in the mix soon the rebuild will have been a waste when all the arms start getting hurt and/or losing value.
Appears DOB is finally softening on the Realmuto stance that we have no intrest.
You guys really see Realmuto as a legit 4 hole hitter in our lineup? Someone sell this to me please..
