I am tired of teams relocating. So I propose a new rule, when a team relocates the old team is wiped clean and they start like an expansion team.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife joining the efforts to get a team in Portland

We need less teams, not more
The problem with expansion is it comes with an expansion draft.
An expansion draft always hurts teams with deep farms and young teams and helps teams with a bunch of expensive bad contracts.
After spending about 5 years getting rid of their expensive and bad contracts and building one of the best farms in baseball and developing an exciting, cheap, young ML team, the Braves stand to be one of the teams to lose the most.
Sounds like if/when MLB expands, Portland is near or at the top of the list

Portland and Charlotte near the top for expansion.
Charlotte leads the Minors in attendance almost every year.
Would be good for Braves to have a Southern rival. MLB needs to further penetrate the South.
I don't like it.
The Braves don't need another team dividing loyalties in what has traditionally been their home territory.
Now if it works like the Nationals/Orioles thing, where MLB supplements the Braves payroll every year for some bull**** reason, then I'm all for it.
Rather than go into Mexico, a team should be put in San Antonio. Would love Montreal to return if they go retro with uniforms.
Montreal and Portland are the apparent front runners.
Btw where are you guys seeing this at
