Thurman's Huge Collapse

Braves Class AA prospect Andrew Thurman has fallen off the world in terms of his status among the Braves' many young arms.
In his last 10 games, Thurman has given up 23 runs in 34 innings, walking 31 to go with 25 strikeouts. He was 1-4 in them, 1-6 overall with a 6.23 ERA. Tuesday, could not hold a 6-0 lead, giving up seven runs.

Nope, not yet. I would guess it will happen this week.

Wentz did pitch the 3rd. Gave up a hit and a walk but still held them scoreless.

Final line: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB/2 K.

Wentz is done: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 2 K. The one hit was an infield single.

Wentz to start his career: 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 6 K.

Riley for that matter as well. It's always encouraging to see players adjust and grow.

Ruiz with a HR. Coming into tonight, slashing 274 / 369 / 373 and reportedly has looked good with the glove. If the Braves can get Prado this offseason, Ruiz could be a nice player to have at-the-ready in AAA. Prado's versatility can effectively make Ruiz an internal backfill for a number of positions.

Welp, it's blowing up on Toussaint in the 5th. Oh well, still a positive step.

Really like the top of our AA lineup

A rocky fifth inning for Touki, but he's thrown 54 strikes and 22 balls so far. The split was even better than that before he walked two in the fifth.

Swanson is locked in. A pair of ground rule doubles in the first two innings.

Swanson is batting .476 over his last 11 games(including tonight). Insane.

Clearly too good for the Appy League at this point. Hopefully he moves to Rome soon and Fried goes to Carolina.
