They said they are going Ynoa and then Touki and try to get 3-4 innings from each
Unfortunately the game is a Twins feed, not Braves feed.
Ervin lead off single, steals 2B on 1st pitch to Freddie
Freddie draws 4 pitch BB
Ozuna passed ball advances both runners, Ks swinging on full count
Sandoval, runners 2nd/3rd, 1 out, singles to RF scoring Ervin, Freddie to 3rd
1-0 Braves
Lamb, runners 1st/3rd, 1 out, Ks swinging at pitch in dirt
Camargo, runners on corners, 2 outs, GO 3u
Twins Bot 1st
Lead off Dbl, GO 3=1 moving runner to 3rd, Cruz Ks and a GO 3u ends inning
Top 2nd 1-0 Braves
Kipnis singles
Heredia singles
Jackson Ks swinging
Ervin, runners 1st/2nd, 1 out, Ks looking at pitch that appeared inside
Freddie, runners 1st/2nd, 2 outs, lines out to Polanco on deep shift(would have been an illegal shift in AA this year)
Ynoa thru 2 IP has thrown 27 pitches and recorded 3 Ks, 1 hit
Aside from one ST inning, Ynoa has been extremely impressive.
There's your RHH off the bench
I know Camargo isn't the most loved on this board, but I won't lie: I'm pulling for him like crazy. I think he has the ability to help this club in some way.
Ynoa thru 3 IP has thrown 45 pitches, given up 1 hit, 2 BBs, and collected 4 Ks
I agree - I would love to see carmargo finally figure it out and be consistent with what he has flashed so many times - would be so valuable off the bench and with Riley who knows what we have
Ynoa has looked really good. don’t love the 2 BB but he didn’t seem wild or anything.
Were Sandoval and kipnis' hits solid or luck?
Ynoa doesn't complete 4. In 4th he gave up single and back to back BBs and Snits pulled him having thrown 57 pitches. Leaves with vbases loaded, 0 outs in favor of Pfeifer
Ynoa is likely going to be a life-long reliever... but a really damn good one.
I've seen a lot of Alex Jackson at bats over the last couple years. I can't remember seeing him get a single hit.
