I lingered long and indecisively on the keyboard before going with Folty. One consideration is venerable precedence. I have done a prior gdt (which the team won) using Folty rather than Foltyñewicz. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to adherence to precedence. Why tinker with success.

None of the Braves have ever faced Beede. He's 5-9 on season with a 5.02 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, 101 Ks in 109 IP. Has won his last 2 outings beating the Dodgers and Fish giving up 0 ERs in 11.1 IP(5 vs Dodgers, 6.1 vs Fish). Gave up 4 hits to Dodgers and 3 to Fish.
