Rosenthal: #Braves hiring Alex Tamin as director of major-league operations, sources tell The Athletic. Tamin had been #Dodgers’ director of baseball operations. Handled rules and transactions and also was heavily involved in advance scouting process. Will fill similar role with Braves.

#Braves have also hired Jason Pare as assistant GM of research and development. Pare worked as senior director of analytics for the Marlins since 2016.

These are great hires. Tamin decdloped the player evaluation system the Dodgers use. The other was the head of an analytics department
I wouldn't read too much into what they've done so far, but my guess is they will do a lot of things the Dodgers have done where it translates to Atlanta's payroll.Quote:
