You said it was your dream twist, I said that doesn't make sense. Especially in how the whole plot of TFA goes.
I'm feeling a binge session coming along soon. Infact I don't believe I work on May 4th.
Just because of my own interests I'm gonna be live discussing my Star Wars opinions.
I still am baffled that the uniform of the Jedi that everyone in the Galaxy would know was what their uniform was. Wouldn't Obi Wan wearing those on Tatooine create some suspicion? It would be one thing if it was like the guise in Assassin's Creed where it matched the outfit of common folk. But I don't recall anyone ever wearing the same getup as Obi Wan in the OT or anyone the same as the Jedi in the prequels.
Second. the casting in Episode One for Anakin and Padme were truly atrocious.
They're only supposed to be 5 years apart in age. Jake Lloyd is 7 years younger than Natalie Portman but it looks way different. It looks like an 18 year old being hit on by a 7 year old. It's just plain awkward.
ANd a more appropriate casting wouldn't have had to have a recasting to Hayden Christensen.
Also why is C3P0 being build by Anakin a slave child with seemingly no money or a ton of time? Why couldn't he have been introduced organically like as Amidala's protocol droid. Or Palpatine's protocol droid.
The podracing scene is the best scene of the entire film.
Haven't gotten to the corresponding scene yet in AotC, but the all too soon deaths of Jango Fett and Darth Maul underscore a big issue with Villains that Lucas creates. Creates intriguing villains and just barely scratches the surface of them before a bit of a fast death. Jango didn't even need to die.
OK I forgot how much I hated AotC logic flaws. So Komino was deleted by a Jedi from the censors, but they still trust the clone army from it? Come on, how ****ing insane is that. Wouldn't it be clear someone who left the order was trying to hide the planet. How can supposedly the most wise people in the universe miss that?
Holy **** I forgot about R2D2 being given rocket boosters for absolutely no reason. ****
Also, while cybernetics can partially explain it. David Prowse by his own admission was 6'7 280 when he played Vader, Christensen is about 6' and 160 pounds. It was a truly unnecessary continuity for Lucas to make. Add in the truly diminutive size of Jake Lloyd (who's 5'5 as an adult) and kersmash.
Disney is about to make a **** ton of money this weekend
Anyone going opening day/night?
Yes.
Based off what I’ve read. Not very happy about the direction it’s taking.
