Spoiler alert*********************
The UFO thing was strange, although, it didn't feel contrived which often goes hand in hand with that degree of overt strangeness. I didn't care much for it because I felt like it overshadowed everything else that makes that show so awesome.
The League series finale was on last night. Watched it on my dvr tonight. Had no idea the show was ending. Thought it was way better in the early seasons. Oh well I won't miss it much.
Charlie Kelly has made me laugh quite a bit.
What's y'all's verdict on the following series:
Agents of Shield
Arrow
Gotham
Blindspot
And from the BBC:
Spies of Warsaw
Broadchurch
Need a new series to watch during the Christmas break.
Not sure, but I assume it's British made.
Is anyone watching Transparent? I can't believe I like this show but the awkwardness and gross dysfunction seems so real and so American.
I'll give my comments on the 3 I've watched a lot.
I watched a few episodes of Gotham but didn't find it worth my time.
Arrow started out with a pretty strong concept, then went dumb. I had to for the sake of finishing force myself to finish season 2. Season 1 is pretty great though. Season 2 with the whole Mirakuru **** was horrid.
Agents of Shield is interesting, Season 1 was kind of tough it was basically just a vessel to lead to Winter Soldier, Season 2 was pretty great. Season 3 has been really good so far. I think it's long term gonna be a vessel to get us to the Inhumans movie.
Broadchurch is fantastic. Before Broadchurch hit Netflix my gf watched the American version which just wasn't as good. Season 2 may be even better than season 1. Such a great show.
I agree, Broadchurch is fantastic. Reminds me a lot of The Killing that was on AMC.
I couldn't get into Arrow or Agents of Shield. I've watched a few episodes of Gotham and it seems ok.
I personally can't wait for the 2nd installment of Daredevil and also Marco Polo on Netflix. Two of my favorite shows right now.
BTW I love that PBS had a ton of stuff drop on Netflix. I've watched all kinds of WW2 specials, The Roosevelts, and so much more lately.
PBS and BBC make the best TV documentaries.
Broadchurch it is. Thanks guys.
