Finished up Elantris. Kind of a slow start but git really interesting the deeper I got. Overall really enjoyed it. Starting Mistborn now. Have heard good things about it.
Going to the Library tomorrow, I like this Sanderson.
Sanderson became so much better after working with Harriet. A lot of his flaws were ironed out, and I like him a lot more now. He's good.
This burning metals concept "allomancy" is so interesting. Cant put this book down
So I have been reading all of his work. I Have now finished Stormlight Archive, Elantris, Warbreaker, Mistborn era 1, and now reading era 2 Mistborn. His books are now a must read for me
Gonna pack a lunch and start Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose. Kinda a classic in its own right...
If you are interested in American cultural history in the least, this book is an absolute must to read. 200 pages and very readable. Gordon is a self-admitted liberal, but she just presents the facts here in outlining a thread of American political thought that has been around pretty much since the nation's inception. It's important to point out that the reborn Klan of the 1920s was largely a Northern phenomenon.

Just finished Recursion by Blake Crouch. Really good. Next up is either Where the Crawdads Sing or Magic for Liars.
Two good and informative reads about the coming showdown with China.

My favorite books are The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell. Especially the third novel, Mountolive. Here are two reviews written about 50 years after its publication that capture its essence.

I recently found Durrell talking about Durrell on youtube, which will give you a sense of the man.

Next favorite is Man in the High Castle by Philip Dick. The TV series based on it is not bad. But the book itself is something that I find always rewards re-reading.
