Imagine if we spent $28billion to subsidize small circuit board
making companies in Baltimore and Detroit and Houston and Gary Indiana.
And we see what that tax increase us doing to growth
How do you get China to change their ways?
Now we will see just how effective the tariff policy was. China was brought to their knees.
As i said...i want to see whats in the announced 'truce'. Therr needs to be language on IP theft or else its pointless. But China had to make a deal for many reasons most of which were skyrocketing pork prices.
And, the US hasnt even lifted tariffs. Just suspended new ones.
