Its not uncommon for the Braves to do that. I remember when Tommy Hanson (RIP) was pitching in AA he broke out one game for like 13 k's. Shanks reported that the Braves didn't let him throw his slider all year and then gave him the green light. This was later confirmed by other sources.Quote:
