I’ve never been a Stanton guy, but it wouldn’t begin to make sense to me to me financially unless Yankees kicked in 10m a year.

That all depends on what kind of deal you could get with the Yankees. Would they pay most of Stant9n’s salary just so they can sign Harper? It’s a very big long shot and I’m not advocating for it. I just heard the talk on MLB and was just wondering what a deal would look like. BTW, if we could get Harper for 5 years instead of 10, it would be more likely that we would sign him.
Dansby and Julio for Cano, Diaz, and Cash. Who says no? Move Ozzie to SS
I don’t want Cano here. It’s just not our culture. We can do other things.
Taking in Cano would be awful. Way rather trade for Haniger and Colome than Diaz.

I kinda dig that
Rosenthal on MLB Network said the M's would do either with Diaz. Trade him straight up for prospects or with Cano. He also said he doesnt know how interested the Mets are in such a deal.
If the Braves are going to go after an elite BP arm, taking advantage of the Ms FO is certainly the preferred way to go about getting one. I’m generally against using even more resources for pitching now, but if a Paxton-level value can be had for Diaz it’s a no-brainer deal for AA to make.
Nightendale- Free agent center fielder A.J. Pollock is attracting plenty of interest, but he’s looking for close to Lorenzo Cain’s 5-year, $80 million deal with #Brewers in early talks with suitors.
