No idea about tipping pitches, but he was scattershot with almost every single pitch. It was really bad for a prospect of his pedigree and age.

Can someone who is not at an ortho appointment with kids let me know if Max can even pitch this series based on his 10 day IL started.
Especially with Freddie being a slump that hopefully ends soon(1 for last 9, 3 for last 24 --.125). Same with Swanson(1 for last 12, 5 for last 28--.179). Add in Ozzie (3 for last 13), Acuna 2 for last 12). Didn't post about Riley who is in worse shape(4 for last 26-.154) then the others. Don't know if he'll be in Atl or Gwinnett.
I think Kyle Wright was another new ball casualty given that his stuff is unorthodox (much better off speed than his fastball). Not going to name the name that talked about it, but there was someone in another channel that was talking about how his stuff had nowhere near the movement that it had last year in the minors and finally, with his I want to say 7.2 IP 2 unearned start, his pitches were finally starting to move like they were in 2018. To add to that, he was also starting to learn how to sequence better.
So, if/when he's finally announced, or perhaps seen again, it'll be interesting to see if there's differences in the movement on those pitches from earlier in the year.
