Steve Stone on pitching

Most of you will have seen this but I thought it was an interesting battery of opinions.

there is probably good work on why the extra rest a fifth starter gives you is beneficial. Players probably expect it at this point.

But it is interesting that with reduced starting loads that maybe you could get around this.

I guess some teams have experimented with designated Johnny Allstaff games again lately. Feels like maybe this is something that could be played with.
