I've been trying to remember how the broadcast team was paired when it was Pete/Skip and Sutton/Simpson. I remember they used to switch the radio/tv broadcasts but don't remember the specifics.
Sutton was my favorite I think.
It used to be Skip and Joe, and Pete and Don on TBS days.
One team would call the first half of the game, then they'd rotate. Then the next game the team that finished that one would start it again and vice versa.

i loved Pete but Skip was the ****ing man. got those pieces from the public memorial they did at Turner Field and then had a ticket stub from a fanfest that i got them both to sign
One of my favorite memories was going to a Braves game with my dad at the Ted. We walked through the gate and Skip was standing at a podium right outside his BBQ joint they had out there....no one really going up to say hello, but we did....
He was always a treat to listen to.
Skip was a frequent attendee at Panos and Pauls Restaurant. One night I was lucky enough to get a table next to his but I had some clients with me so had limited opps to speak to Skip. I asked him what he recommended on the menu. His response was the deep fried lobster. One of my most regrettable mistakes in life.

Apparently Don had cancer; didn't realize.
