I wanted to take a moment to make the important distinction between espousing "grievances" as you suggest and ad hominem attacks against one's character or integrity (typically guised as, or in combination with, unwelcome snarkiness). That one individual player MIGHT end up being more valuable than any single player in the deal, but not more valuable than all 4. That's the point. So the previous point is pretty silly.
