Next interesting thing to watch is will Trump fall on his sword to keep the father of his Grandchildren out of prison
... or his sons for that matter.
My reading assures me Flynn's plea includes a refuse a pardon clause
4 dimensional chess while Jared plays checkers

Hearing Flynn is broke. He is going to get one hell of a book deal.

The Trump campaign has been paying legal fees for Trump and Don Jr.
So when thethe,Hawk and TikBoi bought those MAGA hats, the proceeds went to keeping Don Jr out of jail.
Pence has ben doing fund raisers for legal defense and according to above Flynn had to sell house.
Draining the swamp
they said they wanted to drain the swamp.
they never considered that they themselves were the swamp.
just kidding, they knew they were. they were hoping their supporters would believe they weren't.
hmmm...Kushner was interviewed by Mueller's team in November...I wonder if he was asked about the Flynn-Kislyak dialogue and his own role in said dialogue
I hate to break it to some but the transition team talking to Russia is not going to get an impeachment. It could come out that Trump himself was ordering everyone on the team to call every Russian diplomat they knew and it's not going to get an impeachment. There are plenty of things that are illegal but wont create enough of a political firestorm to unseat a president.
Honestly, I expect most people wouldn't have a problem with a President-elect wading into the foreign policy waters. Most people probably assume they do it considering a president-elect is just a couple months away from running foreign policy.
To bring Trump down it will have to be something easily understood and shocking to people. Conspiring with Russia to rig the election would do it. While we have smoke of Russia interference, there's nothing connecting all the dots right now. You get a smoking gun of that and Trump goes down. Transition team influencing foreign policy? Not enough.
I think given these developments and the fact that people tied to this administration have repeatedly lied or had to "amend" testimony" indicates clearly the direction this is all heading.
I agree that these transition period meetings are not a yuge problem for Trump. They are a problem only to the extent to which people like Flynn and Kushner lied about them and those lies are used by Mueller to extract information about other matters.
The matters that could lead to impeachment are: 1) obstruction (Flynn and Kushner both could potentially add damaging information on that) and 2) Trump using Flynn and others to establish some sort of quid pro quo with the Russians during the campaign.
I think on the obstruction there is currently a fairly strong case. Could get stronger based on what Flynn and Kushner (and others such as Sessions and Rosenstein) testify to. On quid pro quo, I personally think it happened but I don't think the proof is there yet.
U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras said at Flynn’s plea hearing that the retired three-star Army general had agreed to provide "substantial assistance for prosecution of another person," suggesting that Flynn is helping the FBI target a higher-up in the White House.
