The Fangraphs article explains where Perdomo has been. They still expect him on the FCL team but he’s on the 60-day DL with a hamstring injury. Sounds like they still expect him to play this year.

I have no idea what the MO is, but from the 30,000 foot level, it appears that drafting pitching--especially college pitchers who could move fast--could provide ammunition to use in deals. I think Hackenberg, Braun, and Kuehler from 2024 and Burkhalter and Maier froom earlier drafts all fit with that mindset. They certainly wouldn't trade them all, but there's enough ceiling on these guys to elicit at least some interest.
