about the worst of the ideas I have seen, #1 draft pick here we come
**** it, let's lean into the suck.
I've not been looking forward to watching Jace play every night...and that's probably a better outcome than running Loney out there.
Oh, well. This should have been a tank year anyway.
When the posi-braves blame our terrible season on the Freeman injury, let's all remember that we are on a 70 win pace with Freeman.

Still don't understand why we aren't giving Rio a 10 week run to see what he can do.
vs. righties, let him play 3B and play Jace at 1B.
vs. lefties, let him play 1B while Adonis plays 3B (Even though Rio hasn't played 1B, he can learn in a tank year...Hell, the Braves once threw Ken Caminiti at 1B during one of our NL East winning years).
In a tank season, see what you have even if you don't get desired outcomes.

Worst nightmare .... Losing Freeman.
Second worse nightmare ... Replacing him with James Loney.

minor league deal for Loney...it would make sense to give Rio a shot
Don't see why there's all the negativity. Yes Freeman getting hurt is devistating. But we had ZERO replacement options. Loney has played the position. If he fails after a few weeks dump him. If he has a few hits see if anyone will fill the locker room Soda machines for him
Get off my lawn!
Chip Caray tweets deal not done yet.
I'm sure he knows. He's done a deal or two.

But, I prayed every night that the Casey Kotchman era would never return to Atlanta.

Facts without context don't always say what you think they do.
You are really good at stating a "fact" then spinning it to mean the absolute worst possible outcome. There is almost always a range of outcomes on the basis of a set of facts. Personally, I couldn't bear seeing everything through the "worst possible outcome" lens. I get that you won't be disappointed, and sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised, but I just can't see the Braves through that lens.
