The mega market teams will make it so no one other than they can afford to play pretty soon. Yankees, Bsox, Phillies, Dodgers etc are all pricing everyone else out of the game.
I wish our owner knew what baseball was.

Pretty much why i dont care much for baseball, can buy a championship.
30 million a year for a player that will start 30 times. Ridiculous. Trout's mouth just started to water. He's gonna be the first 40 million a year player I bet.
This contract is guaranteed to be a problem by year 4. (JMHO)

Just got to the NLCS and probably make the WS if Hanley could grip a bat.
If they get Tanaka, they'll at least make the NLCS if not WS.
Even still, and KL said, they can afford to have bad contracts or ones that dont pan out and still be good. Other teams cant.

Unbelievable, just crazy how insane, and how rapid contracts have increased over the past 15-20 years.
Dodgers are pocketing at least 6 billion in Thier new tv deal over the next 25 years. That's $240,000,000 a year.
6 billion is the floor.
Guess both the tv deal and Kershaws contract are both being announced tomorrow.
