    Question Braves Trivia

The rules are simple, NO CHEATING! If you guess the correct answer then you get to ask the next question. Let's see who has the most knowledge about the Braves. I'll start it off with an easy question.

Who did John Smoltz strikeout for his 3,000th career strikeout?

Chipper is correct. Lofton and Tucker both made outs and Chipper delivered the first hit.

    Millwood it's your question.

Against what team in 1999 did Kevin Millwood go 10 shutout innings, only to go with a no decesion?

Hint, Greg Maddux also went 10 innings against the same team in 1993.

Who were the three players on base when Brooks Conrad hit his famous walk-off grand slam in 2010?

    No cheating.

Good question. Very good question. Can I go back and watch the game? LOL. Seriously though. It's time to try to think and remember how that sequence of events unfolded. I'm wanting to say that I know for sure that one of the runners was David Ross, that's not a guarantee but I'm 99% sure he was one of the runners. Martin Prado was one of the runners. I remember he hit the ball that would have been a game ending double play but the 3rd baseman booted it. Now for the other runner. Hmm. I can't think of another guy so I'm just going with Troy Glaus as a wild guess.

You've got two of the three.

But you're not going to tell me which 2? That is so not fair. LOL. I'm starting to question the David Ross part. I know for sure Prado was one of them because of what I said about the botched groundball to 3rd.. But I'm thinking the inning started with a Glaus single or walk. Hmm. But Glaus could have already come around to score by that time because the Braves batted around in the inning. Ugh. This is so hard. Those are the only three names I can think of. Time to go back to another wild guess. I'm having so much trouble even remembering who played in that game for the Braves. I do remember Tommy Hanson started and gave up 8 runs without making it out of the 2nd inning and Mike Leake was owning the Braves for most of the game. Who in the world was playing CF for the Braves? Oh wait, that would be Melky Cabrera. He's my third runner this time. Prado, Ross and Cabrera.
