Facing Wilson and Touki on the same day really has to suck for a AA team.

Today was supposed to be Wentz’s turn in the Florida rotation. Instead, Ian Anderson will start and Muller starts tomorrow. Hope Wentz is fine, but that doesn’t seem good.

Bryse Wilson just gave up his only run in six innings on a pop up error by the first baseman. The kid battles.

Nothing to write home about ALlards outing so far today but I will point out that he has finished 6 innings with no walks and only 68 pitches.

Hope we see him soon just not sure where.

Apparently hit in the lower leg with a comebacker.

Didn't I read here that his framing sucks?

I really like the fact that AA is so patient. Listening to him...he has learned a lot in the past. He has all the cards and I think he will know when to play them. There will not be a “HO” trade on his watch...he’s too smart. The Marlins are asking a king’s Ransom for him and he is probably not be worth it with only two years of control left (at arb prices which won’t really be cheap). Would love to have him, but he is not near the deal Yelich was with all of his years on control. The Marlins are too high and I think it’s because they would rather keep him thru the rebuild for the face of the franchise (like we did with Freddie).

There’s some video here of the Allard-Ruiz collision. Looks like Allard’s left knee was planted when they collided. Hopefully it wasn’t anything serious: https://atmlb.com/2IZ7bXE

Waters and JCE are really starting to heat up down in Rome. If Ramos joins them, they might become a really exciting team.

Waters is making some noise for sure. Looks like a player, but it’s EARLY

I agree. They guys we need to trade are the blocked AAA guys. Fried, Wisler types. We really have NO glaring weaknesses that we do not have a minor league replacement. Catcher may be the only place, but signing Flowers and Suzuki back for a couple of years would work just fine.
