I see acuna caught up to a high fastball finally. But also failed miserably in extra. Another loss that the Braves could have gotten a bench guy in.

Was Harris not playing in with one out and winning run on 3rd. How does a shallow pop drop?? Oh well twit can sleep in and submit the sharpie lineup today. Sooner or later these guys will remember that they like to run through brick walls for him and start clicking.

Is Pierce Johnson hurt? Don’t think he’s pitched the last few days.

Take a look at Acuna's xwoba... only seasons he hasn't been around (or over) .400 is 2022 and this season. Knee was the issue then, and it's becoming obvious it's the issue now. The scary part is his wOBA is .333 also, so he's not been unlucky. You would think he would be sit some or used as a DH. I know ozuna has been great this season, but Acuna's knee is more important than some early season wins. I feel like this team is run really well except in matters of keeping guys healthy.

Riley just had a walk off in the 10th inning last week against the Guardians.

Personally I prefer to lose 10 run games.

He’s on pace for 70 steals again so unless he really is just a moron and isn’t saying anything, I don’t think his knee has much to do with it.

He had 40 stolen base attempts in 2022 so it wasnt like he wasnt running then.

He was very forthcoming in 2022 about his knee too.

Acuña’s .719 OPS this year is good for a 107 OPS+. Offense is a joke this year around the league.

Well he is a moron. But he still had 30 stolen bases in 40 tries in 22. That was pre rule change and smaller bags. His speed doesn’t change with his knee. It is his swing that suffers.

Also he has only attempted 2 stolen bases in the last 7 games. Could be that he can’t get on base or that the Braves have finally said just stop running for a bit. Most likely the first.

Finally went to go see video of walk off. It is hard to tell how deep Harris was playing but what the heck. Why did he treat that like a third inning bloop that he didn’t want to get past him. Zero effort made. I would bench him just for that lack of effort. Unacceptable to not try and catch it. Almost seems he could have just not slowed up and ran under it.

Something is up with Harris on D. He is rating a negative defender this year despite being plus defender the last 2 years. He is super young for defense to just decline like that. It should be getting better not worse.

Has Harris sprint speed declined. He seems heavier this year. Only going on eye test. So I could be way wrong.

No idea, but I do find the bronco commercial with his jersey too small funny. That bottom button is about to give way.

Wow. Went from 29.4 in ‘22 to flat 28 this year. Seems like a big drop for his age.
