I confess that I’m bummed out on losing the no hitter because I’ve never seen one from the Braves. The old Sportsouth wasn’t in my cable system at the time and I didn’t have cable at the time of the Mercker one.
Good to get the win and clinch the series against the Mets however

Only the Guardians (42 years), Blue Jays (33), and Royals (32) have had a longer no-hitter drought than Atlanta.
I'll be honest. I was casually watching on my phone and didn't realize what was happening until the 9th. Instant excitement and disappointment.
And the Braves have had three Hall of Famers in that time. Go figure.
