YMMV. My entire side of the family received the vax, aside from daughter and 1 of my nieces. Me and my wife only received the first full round (2 doses) of vaccines in the spring of 2021. We got our first case of COVID a few months later in December and it was very mild. We didn't feel the need to "re-up" after that as COVID continued to trend less deadly and as the treatment for more sever cases became for reliable. The rest of my family has continued regular vaccinations with zero adverse reactions to report.
The vaccine is mostly safe, Research supports that. But at this stage it certainly doesn't seem like it is needed anymore, aside from maybe the immuno-suppressed.
