There’s just no logical reason for why this lineup is struggling so much. It’s basically the same lineup, except for LF, that tore the cover off the ball last year. These guys are too good to be in a slump like this. I’m confident they’ll snap out of it because of the talent and ability they have. Right now, it’s frustrating.

Pop out? You mean the ball he hit 105 mph to the wall in dead center?

Can’t disagree. Just who do you put there? Arcia or Harris?

Unless we're going to put Ozuna second, there is no one on the team right now who has done much to warrant hitting them second.

He has great talent. It just doesn't show on the biggest stage at the right time. The proctologist have removed the golden horseshoe from all the offense.

I think Acuña, Olson, Ozuna has to be the play for now.

I can see that. Plus you go right, left, right at the top three in the order.

For all struggles recently, I feel it's important to note that we are still on a 97 win pace.

I'm confident Olson, Acuna, and Harris won't be this bad all season. It's just more pronounced because they are all struggling at the same time. Hopefully Murphy coming back is the spark we need to get everyone going.

Issue is, they’ve been struggling for almost two months now, even though their expected stats say they should be better.

It’s a long season. Everything has been perfect for Philly and everyone on offense is down for Atlanta except Ozuna. Everything will be fine

Should make every hitter bunt every at bat until they don’t swing at pitches that bounce in front of plate, over their head, or in the opposing batter box. I am tired of watching that crap.

    Interesting point made above …..

We had the most potent lineup in the history of baseball last year. Same guys except we upgraded LF.

So who batted second in that lineup all year ?

Figure that out and fix it…. I’m a sure there’s an old lineup card laying around the manager’s office somewhere under a six month old stake coffee cup

Not only do the Braves have a horrible Chase rate and Chase contact rate, they also swing at the first pitch the most and also have the worst zone contact percent. Basically no one knows how to make contact this year and the eye test supports this theory.

They also have the highest pull % so that makes sense that when they actually do make contact they hit the ball the hardest in the league.

I am guessing they bought into the philosophy that 'putting the ball in play' is stupid and they will just try to do damage on every swing.
