Stand isn't the right word for it, but yes. Then, factor in the 5 monsters in front of you keeping you away.
I'm not real sure what your hard on for this arguement is, but you ignore a ton of the facts. See above.
I wouldn't call Drew Brees a mobile QB, but he is extremeley difficult to bring down or get a shot on in the pocket. Hardly ever gets hit at all, but it is in the pocket constantly.

The point isn't if they are easier to hit. The point is when you do get hit, the hits are generally much worse for running QB's.3
Obviously you have the 86 Eagles O-Line who gave up over 100+ sacks, then yeah it likely isn't going to matter if your QB is a running QB or pocket QB, cause he's gonna get murdered either way.
It is interesting though that the Eagles 86 team featured one of the more prolific runnings QBs in the history of the game and he was sacked a wildly impressive 72 times while taking only half of the snaps.

If you guys actually watched the 49ers and didn't just follow reputation you would have known the offensive line last year was not great at all. But hey...let's just all follow popular belief. I bet you guys didn't see more than one 49er regular season game last year.
Watch the game and look at the numbers. They were not good last year.
That's if the QB sees the guy coming for him. What if he gets blindsided?
The issue with running QBs is they don't know how to take hits because they weren't runningbacks. They are used to not being hit in practice on top of that they're usually more athletic than other kids in high school and college so they don't take hits then either. Then they hit the pros and all of the sudden instead of just one great defender on the other team who's on par with him athletically there are 11.

Zeets,
Been watching HN? Looks like we will see Freeman, Hageman, Southward (to a less extent), Shembo, and Matthews get big time PT this year. Pretty decent draft if those guys are contributors.
Shembo looks good at ILB too.

I haven't been watching it. Haven't had the free TV time. I really liked Shembo's talent. Hopefully he's not the scumbag that he was in college.
I like our OL so much more. We actually have someone who may be a competent backup in Carimi incase of injuries. We still have inside depth issues though. But starting wise the right side of our OL is gonna be miles ahead of where it was last year.

Pretty sure I saw where he was cleared.
Been commanding the D pretty well, and rushing the passer from the ILB spot also. Feel like he and Worrilow will be pretty capable in the middle. I like Bartu in coverage. His diagnosis skills are top notch.
The right side should be MUCH improved.
