Just hope Fredi is next. I don't see how he couldn't be with how the team has hit rock bottom in September.

If we don't also fire Fredi than this is pointless.

Sports are weird in the way that people celebrate the firing of a person.
Still, Wren was responsible for some terrible contracts. Someone had to take the fall.

If Fredi sticks around I'm gonna be a Heyward, Freddie, and Kimbrel fan next year.
Stockholm, more densely populated than NYC - sturg
I still think Fredi will lose his job. I'm in denial. If not, the closest I'll come to giving the Braves any of my time is when I stop in here.
Braves are keeping Fredi apparently and only firing Wren. Terrible...

Happy day!!!
Don't think there is anyway you can let Fredi be "safe" after the September collapses we have had and this season as a whole. I agree they are probably going to let him finish the season and once a new GM has been appointed, he will bring in his own staff. If you think about it, there is a good chance Walker and Fletcher are going to be gone, and yet no move on that end yet.

per MLB Network, Bobby Cox will play a big part in the management transition.

I wonder if Liberty influenced Wrens firing after the under wraps Santana deal they were not happy about. Maybe since we aren't making the playoffs upstairs said your gamble didn't pan out and it cost us.
I find it amazing Wren was let go. He was JS handpicked successor.. and didn't have too much of a bad tenure.
Forever Fredi
@Joelsherman1: #Braves have been good at draft/develop plus small moves at margins. Those moves often have asst GM John Coppolella’s fingerprints (cont)
@Joelsherman1: So Coppolella has chance at this job, esp because now-interim GM John Hart is a fan of his work #Braves
I keep thinking that the president/owners fire the GM, the GM fires the manager. Chain of command and all.

They'll probably wait till after the season to fire Fredi. There's no clear cut replacement there like there is with GM. At least that's what I'm hoping for.
