I'm not a Markakis hater but the signing is still just baffling given this offseason. Its not like he's young either in which case the logic is likely to get 1-2 decent years and then acquire more prospects.
Loved moves like Kelly Johnson / Gomes - short term deals that are cheap with decent enough plugs for a weak team. Would have just preferred something similar in right field.
