Remember when Hanson was a slightly better prospect and started as a better major leaguer? Sigh

Tommy being a trainwreck sucked. We hadn't had a pitching prospect of his caliber since Avery. Shame.

I remember I had an autographed minor league card of Hanson and Kershaw serial numbered 1/1... I was mad at Kershaw at the time because he was the one not living up to the hype. I would have told anyone then that Tommy would be the better finished product. Wish I still had that card but for Kershaw.

Spot start for Ian Thomas tonight for LA.

    5 IP, 3 H, 1 run, 5 K's.

    Always liked him.

Freeman to the Nationals doesn't make much sense, so I wouldn't pay those rumors any mind.

Zimmerman IS in a terrible slump, though. I don't know. Sounds really out there to me.

Hamels pitching quite a game so far.

Nice way to boost his trade value.

Well, of that was Cole Hamels' last game with the Phillies, that was a heck of a way to go out.

    Great game by Hamels.

    Raised his value a lot.

He'd be a really good fit with the Dodgers.

If the Phils don't move Hamels in the next five days they've made a major mistake.

Mistakes are something the Phillies tend to make

Depends on the offers they get for him but they havent moved him the last 2 years, so who the hell knows.

I mean, like Crimson said, it wouldn't shock me if they don't -- but I also don't think his value is likely ever to be higher than it is right now.

Probably Hamels best start as a Phillies player and it could be his last.
