It's an unbelievable time right now to be a braves fan.
Nope, we're stuck in the stone ages**
It's too bad the coaching staff is stuck in the stone ages though. If they used advanced statistics and technology, they would laugh at Adonis Garcia spending a considerable amount of time hitting in the 2 hole.
Which explains why the Braves and Hawks were ranked so highly. Being able to Tweet and stream video at a ballpark doesn't seem so much more technologically advanced than operating a Formula One team, but this guy's supposed this savvy tech writer.he currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
500 team next year my friend.
New stadium with potential big revenue increases
More friendly CBA to the mid market teams
Nice collection of young talent at the major league level controlled for several years
Farm system that is consensus top 5.
Natural Immunity Croc
I'll believe all this tech friendly stuff when I see it.
Given that it's all done by Comcast, there is about a 90% chance that it will be down at least half the time.

Yes I did, Smartass. Sorry, Smootness.
No Formula One team is listed. It fits the criteria, but that sport is probably way outside his area of knowledge. Either that or it's a just typical chauvinism of American sports journalism in general. A few soccer clubs are included for the purposes of "inclusion" and to seem "global."Our justifications and methodology for including a team on the list included three areas: regular partnerships and utilizations of new technologies and sports technology companies; unique fan engagement tactics via digital platforms and new technologies; and players on the team who are involved in startups and sports technology companies.
You'll be able to access your FB page from your seat at the new ballpark. How exciting!
Pure puff piece.
why are we celebrating the chance of being a .500 team? what an incredible time!
glad the braves are really going for it by adding julio franco's parents to the rotation. might as well make some roster space for RA Dickey. Wouldn't want to give a young pitcher a shot since that .500 record is possible!
Yeah, it's largely a puff piece. But he basically outlined that initially in his criteria. He didn't include any Formula One teams because he confined it to professional sports teams, and while you may consider Formula One to count, it's not generally included in that group.
Another leg humper. Now, go run along and play with the other socially awkward misfits over at Fangraphs.
