Albies has infinitely more promise offensively than Andrus. Way better prospect.

Did any of those guys have a 70 grade hit tool from BA like Albies does? Because 70 seems really good.

My favorite position prospect is Acuna, if his power develops, we could be looking at a guy with skills near that of Andruw. (tho probably not at quite that level)
4-6 WAR player tho with his defense, bat and speed. that'll work!

Braves litter the BA positional lists...
SS - #1 Swanson, #9 Maitan
2B - #2 Albies, #10 Demeritte
3B - #8 Riley
Braves' prospects who were also named on ballots for their Top 100 included...
Fried, Gohara, Muller, Riley, Toussaint, Weigel, and Wentz.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
RHPs - #14 Soroka, #21 Anderson, #37 Weigel, #44 Toussaint
LHPs - #2 Allard, #6 Newcomb, #13 Gohara, #15 Fried, #19 Wentz
Corner OF - #16 Peterson (ahead of Jesse Winker and Brandon Nimmo who seem to be plummeting of late)
CF- #13 Acuna, #30 Pache

still surprised that Touki is that far back from Weigel and the group. I have him so much higher in my personal list. His stuff is the best on the staff IMO.. Big FB to go with the best curve.. sorry Fried..
It's especially strange since they ranked him the #90 overall prospect last year. Sure, he stayed at A again, but his results were much better, especially after that terrible start. I can understand dropping him a bit because he stayed at the same level and still had control issues, but it shouldn't be by much, and you can make an argument he improved his stock a little.
I think one thing that can happen in the top systems with depth is that you continue to see a guy ranked in a certain place within a system and it starts to impact your thoughts on that player and where he sits in all of baseball. For example, if you consistently see a guy ranked #1 in a system, even if you know that system is really bad and the #1 ranking doesn't mean as much, it's hard to not at least grow a little fonder of that prospect over time because he's the top guy in a system. In the same way, if you continually see a guy ranked #12 or so in a system, even if you know that system is really deep, it's hard not to become a little jaded with the player and think of him as a guy who can't crack the top 10.
I honestly believe that if a system was ever able to truly get 20+ of the top 100 prospects in baseball (would be extremely hard, and I definitely don't think that's where the Braves are, just an FYI), I still think you'd see them with no more than 13-14 or so of the top 100. It's just hard to convince yourself that a system can have that much talent in it.
Touki's rank within our system has dropped out of necessity as we've added Anderson, Maitan, Gohara, Wentz, Fried tore it up, Acuna rose, etc. So it can subconsciously cause you to perceive that the player is slipping, even if he really isn't.

yeah, Touki is being punished a bit too hard for that terrible first 2 months as well as being apart of a great system.
If you look at his June on stats
3-3, 2.72 ERA, 17 games, 89.1 ip, 67 h, 27 earned runs, 9 homers, 43 bb, 104 k, 1.23 WHiP, 10.5 k/9, 4.3 bb/9
He still needs to get the walks down, but those numbers should not be over looked. But like you said, I think they are because there are so many other Brave's numbers that have to be looked at.
