I wouldn't say a steal, cause Mallex is a valuable ML piece already. But yes, it's unlikely a team would trade Gohara for Mallex, imo.

Agree... the order of pitchers for me is probably not popular amongst the experts but it's still how I'd rank them:

    Soroka
    Gohara
    Allard
    Wright
Wilson (He may have to shoot up lists next year)
Anderson/Wentz (Wentz has caught up with Anderson IMO)

Honestly, this is said of a whole lot of pitching prospects, even a lot in the top-100.

As usual, I will take this list with a grain of salt and wait for Longenhagen to chime in.

Would it be possible to post the whole list? Just curious where everyone else falls.

I'm guessing Law graduated Newcomb so the Braves could have had 8 on his list

I don't think so. He was #81 preseason for Law and wasn't on his top 50 update he did a month or two ago.

I'm not a pitching guru but if you go by what most ppl are saying:
1-2 are Wright and Allard. Either way. Allard has the stuff and the LH thing going for him. Wright is a guy who could be in ATL next year.

3-5 Soroka is still considered the high floor guy. Gohard is the high ceiling guy. Anderson is the middle between them in ceiling and floor.

6-Fried. Klaw says no change to him, still thinks hes a stud. Those that watch him more first hand have raised a bunch of concerns. Still a lot of options.

Others: Take your pick out of Wentz, Mueller, Sanchez, Touki, Tarnok, International guy we gave 6 figures to

Have to add Wilson to that list. Reports on his stuff are very positive right now.

Yeah not including Wilson is a mistake. He's easily been our best A pitcher this year.

Totally valid. Slipped my mind as I hate his HS and battled them on numerous occasions in my youth. You are correct he should be in the 3-6 group no doubt.

Them moving to #1 after trading Q was a foregone conclusion.

Remember when I said exactly that this offseason and the pozzies threw an epic 20 page tantrum haha?

I doubt it...based on BA's list the White Sox now have 7 prospects in the top 100...Braves still have 9.

wait... I thought you were taking these lists with a grain of salt until Longerhans chimed in??

But when a list seems to favor the White Sox... then its valid?

Keep in mind that is their preseason list. The 86 on that list is Acuna, but I think the 89 is Fried so it's a little give and take.

Keith Law also said today he'd still take our system over Chicago. Not sure I agree with it but we'll see.
