Ozzie Albies has been called up from Triple-A Gwinnett. He'll be present for tonight's game against the Dodgers

LET'S GO.
This is awesome!
So so so so shortsighted.
I'm excited to watch Albies play, but it's going to feel tainted.
Man, this is going to hurt our farm ranking..

What position is he going to play? I would presume Philips is going to play everyday he's healthy, so that leaves SS and 3B. Why would we call Albies up to play out of position?
This is way dumber than calling Swanson up.
Snit gonna be pissed if Albies has to play 2b in place of Phillips. Any chance Albies plays SS?
I always thought the bring a guy up for attendance was a crock, but maybe not... losing streak, no Swanson (fan favorite), no problem, bring up Albies
This is odd. I don't care about the service time as much as others. The Battery is our cash cow and we need credit cards walking around to make money.
I wonder if he's going to be playing SS.
As long as he's going to play I completely agree with this. He has adjusted to AAA and it's time for him to start adjusting to MLB.
He's going to make an awesome utility player for the next few weeks.
"Yes, I did think Aldrich was good UNTIL I SAW HIM PLAY. "- thethe
Snit already told him. See that spot over there that was kept warm by Swanson. you can have that spot on the bench.

Will Snit mis-use him and put him in the 8 spot if he even uses him?
I could see him going with the grizzled Vet Brandon Phillips and the hot handed Johan Camargo (.238 AVG since the all star break) up the middle
why are we doing this?

I wonder if we're legit looking at him at SS and Dansby at 2B. Would make sense.
We'd keep switching Camarago in and out at 3B and 2B for a while since Dansby is still in AAA.
sometimes man I just have no clue what our FO is doing......
I thought we partially held onto Phillips because we wanted to keep Albies down and Phillips was playing fine, if the idea was to call up Albies right after the deadline we should have traded Phillips for something / ANYTHING. Why not let Carmago get a couple more weeks of full ABs just to make sure we know what we have with him and also let Swanson / Albies get some more time playing together.
There's so many player acquisition moves our FO makes that I really love, but the way they promote and yo-yo prospects is dubious at best.
My initial reaction is..... 'booooooo'.
I'm really starting to think something has happened -- either ownership wants to see more wins or this front office is panicking and trying to maintain a positive image with the casual fan. I thought us flirting with .500 would be enough for the latter of those two, but I guess they feel like they need to rush this thing along some more.
