Fansgraph article comparing Andrus, Simmons and Camargo...great article that I wish some casuals would read and the front office, although I highly doubt they put stock in such things

thewupk, I'm still willing to wager on Simmons.
Playing Camargo everyday only makes sense when considering what is happening with other players (mainly Swanson). I hope the media whispers that the FO considers Camargo to be some sort of regular going forward turn out to be untrue. Not that I'm not rooting for Camargo to continue improving and turning into another Prado-type surprise.
"I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."
"I am your retribution."
Albies is going to be traded this off-season. No question about it.
which makes his promotion even ore perplexing... as I think he can only hurt his trade value with subpar performance (which should be expected from the 20 year old)
I wouldn't put it past the Braves leaking some of this stuff to Bowman or posturing to increase Camargo's value. I certainly hope that's the case. I'm not sold on Swanson over him, but I'm definitely wanting to keep Albies over him.
In a perfect world the front office knows that Camargo is Prado-like.. and are only doing this to potentially increase his trade value and get other teams on board...unfortunately I think that would be giving them too much credit and they truly believe one month isn't an anomaly and his average years in the minors is the anomaly
And I don't get it, they just seem so damn desperate to win now instead of waiting for the slew of pitchers in the minors to come up...surely there's a frontline in that group, maybe not an ace which is rare but definitely a Sonny Gray type...patience definitely doesn't seem to be a virtue, what's so bad about waiting till 2019 when the team should be truly competing...if it's still a problem, then make a trade
Also of note all 3 are braves products. It's the braves way.
DOB's take on Camargo...
