Newk's breaking ball looks good tonight.

He appears to be trying to follow the same game plan as Gohara: save the change until the 2nd time through the lineup.

Curious to see him bust it out after he turns the order over once.

like how he is locating his fastball... if he can have an easy inning in the 3rd, I predict a complete game shutout..

Love the way Newk is finishing the season out.

I'm still a believer in Folty. The rotation next year has the chance to be real good.

has a real chance to not have obvious black holes which is nice.

He and Gohara's recent success will unfortunately save Hernandez's job.

If we lose tonight, it'll create the distinction of being the year in which we've lost to the Mets more times than any other. Remember that the Mets are a 90 plus loss team. Combine that with our dismal record against the even more putrid Phillies and then tell me again why Snitker should retain his job.

Lead off walk and a Little League error by Dansby--lucky to only give up a single run.

Newk's change looks pretty bad tonight. Still want to see him continue to work it in though.

Newk is hard to square up. He always had a low BAA in the minors. It's been said to death but if he improves that control he has the chance to be a good 2

I'm going to go ahead and predict 40 HRs and 120 RBI for Freeman next year.
