So nice to see Joey Bust not in there.

Expecting little from Suzuki’s mitt tonight, but a yuge game for Camargo’s glove.
"For all his tattooings he was on the whole a clean, comely looking cannibal."
Acuna gets 2 extra base hits
Foltynewicz is rocking a respectable 0.77 hr/9 and 9.5% hr/fb, and Pivetta’s only been slightly worse, so I’d rethink this.
Fwiw, copious longballs have not really been an issue for Folty en route to his 3.42 fip/3.75 xfip. Knock on wood, but I’d guess if he struggles it’ll come down to mitts-in-play.

expecting a yuge game from Acuna
"I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."
"I am your retribution."
I predict a very obvious replay will be blown against us tonight. I know. I'm going out on a limb here.

Thought I read Folty had significantly better numbers throwing to Flowers than Suzuki.
These clowns. Let’s roll em

If Folty can maintain his current K/H/HR rate while also getting his BB/9 numbers back down to his career norms (around a 3.0) then he will be fantastic. I don't know if there has been a mechanical change that has allowed his pitches to be more effective, but he sacrificed control to get there or if he made some changes and his BB/9 struggles are just a product of a smaller sample. Hopefully its the latter, because if it is he is going to be one of the best pitchers in our rotation.
Per above, Folty- I think- I don’t honestly know- per my old ass eyes has simply gained some confidence to throw more strikes and trust his stuff.
So, correct me if I’m wrong, but we only face the Phillies two more times, correct? And we won’t see them again until the end of the season?
Folty's profile (very few grounders, #30 fewest out of 91 qualified SPs) suggests he will always be a guy who gives up well over 1 HR/9. If Folty doesn't fix that BB rate, the Braves will suffer once his HR/9 regresses to it's normal level and those free base runners score via the HRs he is bound to give up.
That throw was amazing
