I did find it odd the one thing he is trying to mock enscheff about is the one thing he said we should do to get proper value out of him. Looks like he was right...again.
That said. It's undeniable Kemp was not a good player the past few years despite what he's done the first 2 months of the season this year.
Odds are Kemp will crash, and he will crash hard. Dodgers would be smart to see if any AL team in need of a DH is willing to take on a good chunk of the contract..... You know, what we should have tried around this time last year.

Dodgers have just been lucky (as usual). Kemp will turn into “fat double play” Kemp with the first hamstring pull...which is past due to happen. Dodgers will probably be lucky and he will stay healthy until the trade deadline...which will allow them to move him.
I am 110% glad we moved him. NO way he stays heathy for two years. His cash will be off the books this year and McCarthy and Culberson have produced for us.
Remember how fast he went from “mashing monster” to literally unplayable last year.

His fWAR is being driven by more than babip. He's at -1.9 def value right now through 59 games... over 150 games that's approx -4.8. Here are his def values on fangraphs the last few years...
2017 = -14.1 (115 games)
2016 = -19.0 (156 games)
2015 = -18.7 (154 games)
2014 = -17.5 (150 games)
If the dodgers can keep Kemp's def value at this pace, kemp will be valuable even as babip drops
Go get him!
