BTW, Phillies defense beat them again last night as two unearned runs proved the difference. The Nats got their first two runs on a play at home where a good throw probably gets second out, instead Santana threw it so bad two runs scored. The catcher also had a shot at third in 9th but threw it into the outfield bringing home the deciding run as it turned out.

Newk ain't fooling none of them so far.
With 2 outs in 1st, Newk in trouble already. A Duffy BB then a DBL puts runners at 2nd and 3rd.

Newk had him 0-2 and gave him too good a pitch to hit, 2-0 Tampa Bay. This is not going to a good game, come on rain. Bad Newk tonight.
Now 3-0, Newk is worse than Teheran at this point. Ever since that almost no hitter he hasn't looked the same even in his good games.
A single drives in 2, a throwing error on Inciarte puts Wendle at 2nd with 2 outs. Another single scores the 3rd run!!
Newk isnt fooling anyone, down 3-0 already. Hope our Nats can hold on.
