Did we sign Kimbrel yet?
Are there actually 5 pitchers who deserve to start over Fried so far for the Braves? If all you told me was that Fried was healthy for 150 innings this year id tell you he would have over 2.5 WAR.

It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if Pache was given a chance this year. I would rather see him start than Markakis.
I dont know that it will happen this year but I've tried to tell everyone that Pache is more than a gold glove. I've watched him from rookie ball along with Derian Cruz when everyone thought Cruz was the higher rated. While I'll admit the bat is his only question, he's improved so much physically and his plane to the ball is much better. Get on the train now because it's leaving the station...
IMHO, Waters and Pache have a future in the Atlanta outfield.

I am high on Pache. One of the biggest reasons being I’ve heard more than once, that coaches say he is the hardest worker in the minors and is always trying to learn more about the fame. Add that to his talent and look out.
I like Waters also, but I’ve heard he is cocky and bull headed and doesn’t always listen to coaches. I think he will be great also.
I hope they do not trade either one of those guys. I would rather see Jenesta or Riley go (and I really like Riley also).
I am on the back fields of ESPN today watching a bunch of kids that will never make it. But what was funny was as I was walking back up to the cheer competition a group of Braves was walking my way and a heavier guy stopped at a food truck. So I had to see who it was and it was Gohard. Place wasn’t even open and he is already there. Watching some kids scrimmage right now. TD just k’d on three pitches.

Biddle was pitching. But it hard to tell if that was Jessie. Number 89. Need to look that up.

Andres blanco starting at 2b today. Is he a dark horse to make the roster? Hitting .455 (1.280 ops) in ST. Here's his ops from 2014-2016 for the Phillies: '14 - .753 (53 PA), '15 - .863 (261 PA), '16 - .721 (209 PA). He was not good in 2017, .549 ops (144 PA). He was in AAA for brewers last season, .797 ops

Now behind a scout with a gun and Pfifer or however you spell that name. Dude is throwing a crazy 80 mph slider that is fooling everyone. Just K’d the side.

I’m still marginally sort of into the idea of Castellanos if the price is cheap and Snits aggressively substitutes defensively in later innings. Would be a great DH too when the Braves make the Series.
