Harold baines is in the hof so anything is possible. But madbum doesnt have hof stats and he's past his prime.
Albies is 2 games away from an OPS with a 6 handle
Every hitter goes through dry spells and Albies is still learning. If you want to give him a day off, sit him for Carmago, but I wouldn't think of sending him down unless it was super serious and in that case you have to find a long term replacement. He's batting 8th. Not gonna see a lot of good pitches.

At least we knocked the starter out.

Hopefully Acuna is about to go on a big power spree
Was that hard contact by Riley? Keeping up on at bat
When Riley lines out to 3B, is that lucky or unlucky?

Where was your outrage at Dansby when he was sucking it up the last two years?
Ozzie is struggling right now but I’m not going to give up on him at 22.
Even if he never improves and stays what he is, he’s still a solid 2nd basemen.
Let’s give him as much leeway as we gave our SS and look at him now.
Patience my friend..patience...
Ya I agree, sadly until they learn how to value Defense then idk If/when Druw will get in.
I just can’t understand how more people don’t realize he was the greatest center fielder we will see in our lifetimes.
Add his power and peak years and to me he’s a HOF.
If Omar Vizquel one day makes it in like many think he will then Andruw better be in.
If Druw aged gracefully like Omar then he would of been a 1st ballot guy. The hard drop off from star player to part timer left a bad impression on everyone. For a decade he was the best non roider in the game. Statistically he's borderline but several worse players have gotten in recently.
Markakis is who I thought he was, and now we're on the hook.
any chance they look for a legit upgrade? my fear with signing him in the first place was, even if he proved to be ineffective (which we're seeing), they would stick by him. i think that's still the case, unfortunately. he's not getting it done and is going to continue to hamper a contending team.

One of the reasons that unlike others I'm not eager to trade Duvall is I think he is good insurance for injuries/cratering performance by some of our hitters, Muk being one of them. I think we should trade from genuine prospect capital when upgrading the pen, not guys who could help us this year.

I showed plenty of angst for Dansby in the past but Ozzie doesn't deserve any space at all for showing Francouerian like tendencies and refusing to stick with trying with an adjusted swing. As if he doesn't, the left handed swing he has now is permanently broken to the point that he's pitcher caliber outside the early part of the season. No amount of time and space and doing nothing with that swing is going to change him not having any kind of natural plate coverage on the left handed side, while maybe trying with adjusted swings will.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
