I'm just not seeing this really deep lineup. Turner, Rendon, and Soto are legit offensive weapons. Kendrick has been amazing thus far, but it's a mirage and he'll drop off soon. Other than that, they have a bunch of averish hitters. I mean they certainly don't have a bad hitting team by any means, but they are far from an offensive juggernaut.
A bunch of average hitters paired with three elite offensive hitters is a deep lineup.
(It’s essentially what the Braves have FWIW, even though I prefer our lineup a little bit).
Edit: checked Fangraphs and Have to eat crow. 16th in MLB in wRC+. Definitely not as good as I expected

Madbum getting lit up...
Phillies aren't contenders unless Harper hits like an MVP. Nats worry me a lot more but glad they swept Philly. No one has the depth we do in this division.

Man... I didn't realize Haniger is struggling so much. DiPoto shoulda traded him in the off season when he could have gotten a king's ransom. Looks like he's been a BABIP victim...

Funny thing is I wouldn’t mind having Madbum just for his experience...I think he could help us. San Fran taking their stance asking for the moon for a aging pitcher, who hasn’t had a very good season in two years and is a free agent at years end is laughable.
To me, they would need to attach Will Smith with him to get a very good return.
Stroman would be my bet if who AA goes after...
