Suzuki HR, Nats win 11-10
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;......
And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
High Flight

BTW, how bad is Edwin Diaz? Dude is pretty much guaranteed runs.
Un-freaking-believable.
Unbelievable
Frenchie keep your mouth shut next time.

I'm going to attempt to disinfect this thread with sage smoke, and if that doesn't work I'm going to spread it across my lawn and watch it grow green.
now the mets will surely lose tomorrow.
There was also no reason to pull Lugo there, he just had a quick 1-2-3 in the 8th. Yes they were up 10-4 but you finish the deal and worry about tommorow when it gets here.
Ultimately, no damage done since we won tonight, but it sure does feel like we lost a game in the standings.
Can't believe the Mets actually blew a 10-4 lead in the 9th.
If the Mets went down 1-2-3 after the Nimmo HR, they probably win and Callaway was probably saving Lugo for Wednesday but thats getting too cute.
Think of it this way.... they blew the comeback of a decade against the Mets ...and not us...

...and we talk about our bad losses. The Mets will feel this one for a long time.
a win like that and another win tomorrow could give the nats a lot of momentum coming here.
