Niners were not easily the better team. Maybe if they had Jimmy G they'd be better than the Eagles. But they were not beating the Eagles with Brock Purdy.
If Dak didn't **** the bed, the Niners woudln't have made the Championship game.
People hype Brock Purdy up, but look at who he beat
Miami at the start of their freefall at home, Tampa at home, in Seattle, Commanders at home, OT win in Vegas, home vs. Az, Home vs. Seattle, home vs. Dallas.
Only 2 of those wins would be good. At Seattle and Dallas, and as I asid, Dallas wins that game if Dak wasn't Dak.
Ranking thos teams by Pass DVOA you find Seattle at 17, Tampa at 15, Miami 25, Was 13, Vegas 31, Arizona 21, Dallas 3. Purdy didn't do much vs. Dallas. 6.4 NY/A and 0 TDs. If he kept his Reg season average he would have thrown for 2 TDs and had 7.13 NY/A. So Dallas's defense shut him down. Best you can bet is that Niners score around 19 points. Eagles on the year scored under 20 POints 2 times, At Indy (that was a bad game) and vs. New Orleans WIth Garner Minshew as a QB.

So now the great 7th round Brock Purdy even makes the defense play better. If the defense has the mental fortitude of giving up that easily, you DAMN SURE didn't have the better team.
Oh thethe, your takes never cease to amaze me. Just when I think you can't get dumber, you somehow find a another level.

Even if Purdy plays, idk if they win. Eagles basically sat on the ball in the 4th quarter.
Again, if you think their mental fortitude is that weak, then they had no no business being there. No championship caliber team quits because their QB gets hurt, especially when in the conference championship game. Miami was forced to start a their 3rd string QB in the playoffs too and nearly pulled off the upset in Buffalo. So that's a crock of ****.
Play calling on defense would largely be the same, at least until late in the game. The amount of rest is the only issue that would play a mild factor, but even then you would not see take affect until later in the game. Eagles had 21 points at the half alone.
Purdy was the third string QB - We were playing with our fifth string QB (Purdy with no ability to throw).
Get a clue dude.
Eagles 21 points at half (Challenge call that should have been made - Fumble recovery deep in own end after 4th string bum QB fumbled a snap).

He was the 'Third String QB' and as long as he didn't get hurt niners were going to beat the overrated Eagles.
When the game was still somewhat not a joke the Eagles couldn't move the ball and Hurts looked awful.
Before the fumble the niners showed that they were moving the ball (big time small smaple) but they weren't struggling moving it and CMC looked like he was fully healthy. Purdy plays and we roll.
All it actually took for Eagles to win though was for niners to be on their 'Fifth string QB'.

It doesn't matter what string he is. You honestly think Johnson, as a 12 year vet was less equipped to play than Miami's 3rd string, 7th round rookie QB?
You keep digging yourself deeper into this moronic hole.
You keep talking about a challenge call. IT DOESN'T MATTER! Bad calls happen. It's part of the game.
Classic excuse.
You ignoring that the Eagles scored on their first drive. If not for special teams and dumb penalties the Niners don't score. Brock Purdy got his ass mollywhopped and Johnson playing probably was the best thing as he at least had the brain to throw the ball quickly.
Eagles were winning that game anyway. The only thing Purdy could have done is kept it close.
I'm glad you're not backing down from your stupidity. At least you wear it well.

LMAO!
So we went from " the Niners defense was so dominant!" to "They couldn't cope with the loss of their star QB!"
