We also paid off a guy to shut the lights off at halftime....

Shanny's coached an MVP and it wasn't Purdy.

Wake me up when Purdy has a game half as good as Ryan's Superbowl.

I'm clearly messing with you - Noodle arm was a great QB in his day.

If the Niners traded for Ryan last year they'd have a Super Bowl. Ryan could have lead them past the Eagles. He wouldn't have blown his elbow like a puss.

    HAHAHAHAHA - Nice.

Poor Purdy could be on the precipise of two straight super bowls. No doubt we were better than crap eagles last year.

Purdy was always gonna choke. If not for incompetent opponents he'd be out by now. Not always gonna get lucky like that.

Can't play in the rain but when the rain stopped he drove the team down the field for the game winning score. I'll take that.

And now that we can see the miracle catch by Ayiuk wasn't luck at all because it was CLEAR DPI I think Purdy deserves a bunch of credit for yesterday as well. Made a bunch of big time plays.

Not everyone has to be Mahomes but Purdy could end up proving to be a better big game QB than Ryan!!!

I will say though thank God Campbell is a ****ing moron and handed us the momentum back in the game.

Lions defense is awful. Purdy is the 1st QB in last 6 games not to throw for 350+.

Purdy threw for 267 and 50 of that came on a ball off pur defender's face

Same. That second half ruined football forever for me. I haven’t enjoyed a game since

Ryan would have at least two superbowls if he had defenses half as good as this 49ers team.

For sure. The 2012 Falcons offense was special. Ryan, Roddy, Julio, Tony, semi decent running game. Defense was ****. It was 34 year old John Abraham and a bunch of mid players. 2016 our running game was better, Ryan was better, Julio was better, but the step down everywhere else was rough, From Tony G to Toilolo/Tamme/Hooper is a cliff to fall off, from Roddy/Julio to Julio/Sanu is a dropoff. We were just a machine offensively. But defensively it was pretty meh as well.

Ryan never had a top 10 defense really and it's a shame. He's not Brady, but he's at least as good as Roethlisberger, etc.
