Not surprising that the Dodgers are finding no interest in Kemp - https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2017/...matt-kemp.html.
What would be funny would be AA agreeing to pay $5 million to get Pederson and then turning around and releasing Kemp.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
This sums up why I gave the Kemp trade an A- rather than an A+:

12:26 Are people who are bashing the Braves end of the Kemp trade ignoring that McCarthy has real value as a player even if his contract is under water, while Kemp is basically useless?
Dave Cameron
12:26 I get why the Braves did it. I'm just not sure McCarthy's short-term value is enough incentive to help LA like they did.
I would have liked to see them get something of long-term value in that deal.
Hard to complain about this deal though.

Only problem is that I think the Dodgers had more options to dump salary to get under the tax over what the Braves had to dump all of Kemps salary. I think the Braves were painted into a corner much more than the Dodgers. I get what Dave is saying.. I just don't know if we could have squeezed much more out of this trade.

I get it but I disagree with Dave. Your grade is fair.
The only thing I didn’t like about the trade was that it makes the Dodgers a big rival to sign a big free agent we might want.
Moving kemp without using young talent is huge for this team this year and next imo. To have a talented gm with that much flexibility is priceless.
AGon signed for league minimum by the Mets.
