I felt like the entire sequence -- Simmons double, Gattis scoring, EJ flying out -- lasted about 10 seconds. EJ wasted no time getting in the box and ending the inning.

EJ flies out on first pitch, way to kill a rally. Now pitcher leads off next. At least the Gattis + Simmons combo got us a run to tie it. Hopefully Minor can give us a shut down inning. I am still annoyed pitcher isn't leading off though.

Non of them should be playing. I'm a big Wren supporter but I was shocked we didn't go after useful middle infield depth. Uggla has no business being on the roster though.

He's a utility guy, hasn't he played some shortstop for us? He could play second. I'd take his bat over Elliot anyday of the week.
