THe funny thing is, just 1-2 weeks prior, thethe said this masterpiece:

Kaep will be a monster if those two come back healthy. He basically has a 75% Davis and Boldin.

So, thethe's timeline goes Davis is 75%. Then 1-2 weeks later he is 50%. Then a week later he is still hampered by injuries despite running past Ed Reed and the entire defense for like 70 yards. Then 1 week after that he goes for 170 in the first half and thethe states something about "you know guys get healthy with time"

So, what percentage is Davis now?
Not sure why I said a 50% Davis. That was a mistake. If a guy is at 50% then he probably isn't playing. The 75% number when I said it was more accurate. Even Davis says he isn't fully healthy but you know more than him.

And you never answered my question before...guys don't get healthier in time?

You claimed he was 50% and he's running 70 yards through the secondary. Then the following week he puts up 177 yards in the first half. Then all of a sudden, it was a miracle recovery in 1 week.

Every player is hurt pretty much all season. Davis' perfomances the last two weeks don't indicate injury.

Like I said, the 50% was a mistake.

The play you are referencing was a completely blown coverage and then old ass Reed who is recovering from an injury as well didn't have an angle to take him out.

The team says he is still banged up and he says it. Sure, everyone fights through injuries and he is finally coming out of it but if you have watched Davis for any point in time for his career you would know he was really hurt after the Colts game for a couple of weeks.

How about when he ran through the Arizona secondary on a go route, man to man the following week?

When do I complain about their injuries pertaining to their wins and losses? I don't.

What I did say was that I will wait to judge Kaep when he has his weapons back.

Boldin just said this week that he has NEVER seen this many double teams his entire career. Wonder why that is.....

Dez gets double-covered, and Terrance Williams is currently our #2. And our oline is no where near as good as the Niners.
I get you're making excuses for Kaep, but if he were sooo good, he'd be playing better right now.

49ers offensive line is great for run blocking. They are not as good pass blocking and the statistics bear that out.

Romo is a really good QB so not sure why this is a knock on Kaep at all.

Also, Kaep has been getting much better since the Indy game. It hasn't been as smooth as it was last year but from someone that watches every play I can assure you he is getting back to where he was.

RBs taken in the first round in the last 5 years.

    2013 - None
    2012 - Richardson, Martin, Wilson
    2011 - Ingram
    2010 - Spiller, Mathews, Best
    2009 - Moreno, Brown, Wells

So in the last 5 years with 160 picks 10 were RBs. Running backs represent 1 out of 22 starting players in the NFL or about 4.5% and about 6.3% of the first round RBs taken in the first round which is right about where the number should be.

While the RBs aren't taken at an insanely high preferable rate like QBs, DEs, WRs, and OTs. But they show up a healthy amount.

So, what you are saying is that he was really injured for Houston game and then a week later he was healthy? Or no?

No, he has been getting healthier every week. He was obviously healthier in the Texan game than the Ram game and last week healthier than the Texan game. Not a hard concept to understand.

It looks like retarded strategy to draft a RB in the first round.

At which point do we get to stop hearing about Davis not being healthy and using that as an excuse for Kaep? Thanks in advance.

But thats the point. Smart teams just don't take RB's that high. Maybe if you like a guy a lot you take him at the end of the first round but anyting top 20 is just a terrible decision for your franchise.

I have said Kaep hasn't played well this year. But, at the same time I am reserving judgement until he has a better collection of weapons around him.

Its so shocking that as Davis gets healthier Kaep is more productive. SHOCKING!

And how many of those guys, in hindsight, should have been taken in the 1st? Rchardson, Wilson, Best, Brown, Moreno, Wells, Mathews should not have. And besides Richardson, they aren't going very high. I would take Morris over anyone there except Martin, and McCoy over anyone there.
