    With Joc I think it all comes down to if we can get him for less than the $10M option that was declined.

    What are resources for? Dont really see any of those deals (?) giving up much.

    Seems that AA has CF long term aimed at Duvall to begin season, has Acuna agreement after healing. If that is not acceptable, what would it take to get Kiermaier?
    One of our depth pitchers for who from the Red Sox? Do they have an OF available?
    Before going on, my obsession with moving Ozuna is based on What Ifs. Being primarily what do you do if another domestic abuse situation arises during a critical time in season. You know he will be immediately banned and probably for life. Then what.
    I like that idea. A solid defensive CF. With as much fire power as we have in our lineup, we don't necessarily need another power bat.

    Do you really want to see Joc and Duvall in the same lineup for a whole season. Remember the bottom of lineup before Soler and Rosario got healed and on board?

    Ehh… d’Arnaud and Swanson (and Duvall) can become black holes for long stretches. No thanks on Kiermaier

    I didn’t say it was a ton of resources. But you’re making the team worse lol. Ozuna’s not going anywhere and Meyers would be a massive downgrade

    Yup. The Braves need a good player, not a LH hitter. Actually, to be precise when people want a LHH, they mean someone who performs well vs RHP.

    Looking at the 5 realistic OFers left, here is their 2019/2021 xwOBA vs RHP:

    Conforto = .378 (.361 overall)
    Soler = .375 (.378 overall)
    Pham = .360 (.356 overall)
    Joc = .348 (.340 overall)
    Rosario = .327 (.324 overall)

    Despite lacking the platoon advantage, Soler and Pham are better vs RHP than Joc and Rosario.

    My top choice is Conforto, but if he's too expensive I think Pham is a great low cost option. In fact, Pham may be so cheap he ends up being my top choice.

    I don't think this team needs to start getting creative. Just sign the best player out there that fits our needs (Soler in my selfish opinion)... Stop worrying about if Ozuna gets in trouble.. deal with situations as they arise.

    I'd rather sign Conforto than those two. And if we can't afford Conforto, Pham seems like he'd provide great value as a fallback.

    I'm okay with that. He will slot into one of the corner OF spots. Still think we need at least 1 more OFer
